A prayer for refuge from the whisperings of Shaytan and evil within the hearts of people. Recited with Al-Falaq for complete protection — especially before sleeping.

The Morning Brightness · 11 verses · Meccan

Revealed when revelation paused and the Prophet ﷺ was deeply distressed. Allah reassures him — and all believers — that He has not abandoned them. A Surah of profound comfort for anyone feeling forgotten.

The Relief · 8 verses · Meccan

A Surah of immense comfort. Allah reminds the Prophet ﷺ — and all believers — that with every hardship comes ease. The word 'ease' appears twice, and scholars note this means one hardship cannot overcome two eases.

The Cow · 286 verses · Medinan

The longest Surah in the Quran. Contains Ayat al-Kursi (verse 255), the most powerful verse. Covers law, faith, stories of previous nations, and guidance for all of life. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Recite Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a regret.'

The Most Merciful · 78 verses · Medinan

Known as 'the Bride of the Quran.' Its repeated refrain 'Which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?' appears 31 times, inviting deep reflection on Allah's countless blessings in creation.

The Sovereignty · 30 verses · Meccan

The Prophet ﷺ said: 'There is a Surah in the Quran of thirty verses that will intercede for its companion until he is forgiven.' Recommended to recite every night before sleeping.

Ya Sin · 83 verses · Meccan

Called 'the heart of the Quran' by the Prophet ﷺ. Addresses the reality of prophethood, resurrection, and the signs of Allah in creation. Traditionally recited for the dying and at times of difficulty.

The Cave · 110 verses · Meccan

The Prophet ﷺ recommended reciting this Surah every Friday. It contains four stories — the People of the Cave, the Two Gardens, Musa and Al-Khidr, and Dhul-Qarnayn — each teaching about a different type of trial.
